Product Description
ROKADE-ARTESIS E-PCM monitors the condition of generators and their prime movers, effectively using the generator itself as an advanced transducer. Leveraging NASA-developed technology, it offers automated setup and fault diagnosis with minimal user intervention. E-PCM is simpler to use and more cost-effective than traditional monitoring systems. It is suitable for a wide range of equipment, including turbo-alternators, diesel generators, and wind turbines, and is especially valuable for machinery located in inaccessible or hazardous environments.
E-PCM creates a digital twin of generators and their prime movers during a self-learning phase. Throughout this phase, the system continuously measures and processes three-phase voltages and currents using system identification algorithms to determine model parameters under all operating conditions.
When a fault develops in either the generator or its prime mover, it alters the current waveform, causing the real system to deviate from the digital twin. This allows E-PCM to detect and diagnose faults in both the generator and prime mover. The system continuously compares real-time measurements with the reference model to identify abnormalities.
